Determining Device Compatibility:
Device requirements for Reconnect Community. Walk through this checklist with your client to ensure their phone is compatible with the Reconnect app (the vast majority of phones are, old and new!)
Also make sure to broach the topic of internet connectivity with your client. If the youth has a data plan on their cell phone, they will be all set. But even if they don't have a data plan, they can still tap into certain features depending on their ability to connect to WiFi at home and in the community. For example, if your client has WiFi at home, you can still use the remote curfew check feature as long as you set the expectation that their phone should always be connected to WiFi in the home.
