Troubleshooting Login Issues

If you are experiencing issues logging in, try these troubleshooting steps.

If you are unable to log into Reconnect Manager, here are some steps to take that may resolve the issue. If you continue to have problems, please reach out to Reconnect Support for assistance.

Confirm your Username is Correct

Make sure it is free of typos. If you don't remember your username, ask another user to look it up for you. They can do so by selecting their name in the top right and going to Edit Users.

Reset your Password

Try resetting your password if you've forgotten it. Steps to do so can be found here.

Administrators of your account (usually a program Coordinator) can reset the password for your user account. Contact an Administrator of your account. They can Edit Users and change your password.

Clear your cache

On occasion, you may need to clear your cache to resolve issues with logging in. Instructions differ from based on the browser and operating system you use. Complete instructions can be found here: Refresh Your Cache.

Clear your DNS cache

On occasion, you may need to clear your DNS cache. This is typically only required in situations where you receive a Your Connection is not Private warning. For instructions on doing this, check out this link: Clear Your DNS Cache.

Update Browser Extension Issues

If you're using ad-block software, follow directions from the developer on how to whitelist reconnectmanager.com or any Reconnect domain.

We've received reports that Ghostery may block users from logging into reconnectmanager.com. You can find instructions on how to trust our sites in Ghostery here: Trusting or Restricting a Site.

Privacy Badger may also create issues when logging in. Click the Disable Privacy Badger for This Site button to turn off Privacy Badger for that site.
