Viewing Violations

Facility-Wide Violations

To view violations for the entire facility:

  1. Go to the Violations tab.
  2. Select a row to view additional information about the incident.
  3. Use the Excuse and Confirm buttons to take action on a violation, and add Notes about the incident.

Client-Specific Violations

To view violations for a specific client:

  1. Go to you Client List and select your client.
  2. Go to the Violations tab in the client profile.
  3. Select a row to view additional information about the incident.
  4. Use the Excuse and Confirm buttons to take action on a violation, and add Notes about the incident.

Violation Notifications

Stay informed about your participants by subscribing to alerts for new violations:

  1. Select your name in the top right corner and go to My Account.
  2. In the Notification Settings section, click Subscribe to Notifications
  3. Select the boxes to receive notifications for your clients' notifications or all violations.
  4. Email notifications will be sent to your email, and Browser notifications will appear through your internet browser.
  5. Select Save Information to save your notification settings.

Note: In order for browser notifications to work, you need to allow notifications from whichever browser you use to access Reconnect Manager.

Violation Types

  • Late (Daily): The client was late for a daily check-in.
  • Missed (Daily): The client did not perform a daily check-in.
  • Missed (Event): The client did not check-in for a scheduled event (i.e. curfew, court appointment, etc.).
  • Scheduled Check-in Out of Bounds: The client was not in the designated area for a scheduled event (i.e. curfew, court appointment, etc.).
  • Facial Mismatch: The checked in with a photo that does not look like them.
  • Low Authenticity Score: The client may have checked in with a mask, or a photo or video that is not their real face.
  • Drug Test Results: The client failed a drug test.
  • Failed Check-in: Contact customer support for more information.
  • Outside Inclusion Zone: The client left an inclusion zone they are required to stay within.
  • Inside Exclusion Zone: The client entered an exclusion zone which they are not permitted to enter.
  • Logged Out (Location Tracking): The client logged out of the Reconnect Community app, which prevents the gathering of location data.
  • Spoofed Location Attempt: The client may have attempted to alter their location.
  • Out of Bounds: The client was not in the designated area.

Taking Action on Violations

There are multiple actions you can take on violations:

  • Excuse: Select if a violation is allowed or expected. For example, the client was late checking in because of a job interview.
  • Confirm: Verify that a client was in violation of their program.
  • Open: Re-open a closed violation.
  • Notes: Add notes about a violation; for instance, the reason for the violation or why a violation was excused. Previous notes on the violation will also be displayed.

Violation Statuses

There are a number of statuses that a violation can have:

  • Active: Violation is active and ongoing. For example, if a client has left an inclusion zone then the violation will remain active until they return to the inclusion zone. Actions are disabled at this status.
  • Open: Violation is complete and ready for actions.
  • Excused: Violation is excused.
  • Confirmed: Violation is confirmed.
