How to join a video call with your case manager through events and messenger

Joining a Video Call from a Link in an Event on Your Dashboard

  1. Open up the Reconnect Community app

  2. Click the video chat event in the task list

  3. Once you are looking at the Event details, click the URL provided

  4. The link will open in your browser

  5. Click "Join via browser"

  6. Allow access to Camera and Microphone

  7. Add your name to the Display name tab

  8. Tap "Join"

Note: Make sure the Speaker, Mic, and Video icons do not have a red slash. If they do, tap on the icons to make them available.

Joining a Video Call from a Link in Your Messenger

  1. Open up the Reconnect Community app

  2. Go to click the Messages tab in the bottom right

  3. Click the link in the message

  4. See steps 4-8 above

Note: Your case manager may choose to share a video link either through a scheduled event or in messenger at any point.
